Purpose:
AlgaeBan® is used in drain pans of cooling units, controlling foul-smelling odors cause by mildew, fungi, bacteria and slime. Hotels, motels, schools, colleges, hospitals, nursing homes, airports and other large buildings all benefit from AlgaeBan®, which is a controlled released product that easily fits into air conditioners or refrigerator drip pans. Due to the controlled release mechanism, AlgaeBan® will last for up to 6 months, effectively maintaining clean water and inhibiting the foul odors cause by mildew. It provides a pleasant aroma as it works.

Directions:

1. The air conditioning coil and pan should be cleaned in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations before inserting AlgaeBan®.
2. Install the appropriately sized AlgaeBan® in the evaporator section of your air conditioner.
3. Place AlgaeBan® in between the evaporator coil and the pan drain opening, as far from the opening as is convenient, while still intercepting the water flow. *Do not block the drain pan opening*
4. Replace AlgaeBan® strip every six months.
5. Dispose in accordance with state and local regulations
6. Wash hands after handling. Keep out of reach of children.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

STORAGE: Store in a cool place. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site, or at all approved waste disposal facilities.

CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Do not use empty container. Wrap container in newspaper and discard in trash.
